The Story of
Passionate
The name originated from the story of a young woman named Passionate, who struggled to afford basic amenities such as pads. This is a sad reality and unfortunately, it's a reality for approximately 500 million women around the globe according to World Bank, these women lack access to adequate menstrual hygiene and facilities.
The moment of realization that she had hit rock bottom was when she saw blood but had nothing to make for a more convenient FLOW. She knew she had to change the narrative for herself and by extension all other women who might be in the situation.
Passionate is just one voice which echoes the other millions who desperately need help. Pad is one of the necessities a woman should never have to struggle for. We believe after food, water and shelter, what comes after is Menstrual products. Pads isn't the only essential needed but it sure is important that is why with one pad at a time we will change her story and the echoes she represents.
The Passionate Project
(P2)
The Passionate Project (P2) is a movement, it's a journey focusing on being the bridge between a woman and pad. A woman's menstrual cycle typically lasts between 21 and 35 days, with an average of 28 days. Period usually lasts for 2 to 7 days. Women may use anywhere from 10 to 20 pads during period, depending on the heaviness of the flow. If a woman has 12 periods per year and uses 20-40 pads per cycle, she could use between 240 and 480 pads annually.
The Goal is Simple:
To Make Pads accessible for women around the globe for easy flow.
We plan to use this initiative to provide as many pads as possible and you can be the reason a young woman doesn't have to associate the story of her life with lack for pad. The story ends with us, it ends with Passionate, it ends with you and it ends with me. Let's change the world one pad at a time, one woman at a time.
